The Children’s Health Academy of Specialized Sports (CHAOSS) is where young sportsmen and women in Bahrain discover, develop and enhance their physical skills and talents through structured sporting programs and activities, which currently include gymnastics, taekwondo, swimming, dancing, music, child development courses for toddlers, and children’s parties.

 

Despite very humble beginnings in 2005, CHAOSS and has over 3000 registered students and a team of specialist coaches and assistants. Our facilities include a gymnasium equipped with top-of-the-line equipment.

 

Our coaching techniques transcend cultural, language and gender divides, providing a unique opportunity for childrenof all ages and varying abilities to learn and excel in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

The founder and co-owner, Cara Mattias, is an accomplished British gymnast and coach, who trained with the 1984 Olympic squad. Gymnastics already enjoys public support and interest in other Gulf countries including Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi. CHAOSS believes that with financial investment and public support it would be possible to develop local talent to the level where Bahrain could also host and participate in competitions, presentations and shows in the region.
